As part of a series of international bilateral meetings that our Board will organize in the framework of the decisions of the General Assembly of December 12th, 2025, a delegation of SETIP and SETEP, headed by Giannis Andreou, President of SETIP and Alexandra Liberi, Deputy General Secretary of our union held a meeting with the President of the Communications Union and board member of Teleperformance Egypt and Caroline Boushra International Relations Advisor of the Union.

During the meeting we exchanged information about the situation of the workers in the sector and in Teleperformance, the demands of our unions and the response of the company and committed in the forming of a joint action plan of solidarity to empower the workers in Greece and Egypt.

It was made clear that at both sides of the Company, which has publicly confirmed that TP Egypt falls under the ombrella of TP Greece, the workers and the unions are facing the same challenges in a developing sector of Communications, as well as against inhumane migration laws and insecurity of short term contracts and low salaries.

The two delegations exchanged information about the strategies in confronting these issues and the demands raised to the company.

During the meeting, that during negotiation meetings between the Egyptian Union and TP Egypt in December an initial agreement has been made for raises in the salaries for 2025 along with a series of other benefits.
