We, the workers of Teleperformance, coming from 110 different countries, despite our differences we understand very well that the interests of the workers are very different from the imperialist war plans.
We stand against the genocide and the murderous plans of the murder state of Israel in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and the wider region. We support the initiative of the Greek Committee for International Recession and Peace (EEDYE) for Greece’s disengagement from imperialist plans and wars., and we are participating in the signature collection campaign organized.
By signing the text below, we demand an end to all military, political, and economic cooperation between Greece and the state of Israel, which, in the last three years alone, has killed 70,000 Palestinians, including 30,000 children.
While the Palestinian people are paying with their blood for occupation, displacement, and war, the Greek government is deepening the country’s involvement in dangerous imperialist plans in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.
The agreement on the “Achilles’ Shield” billion-euro arms deals with Israel, joint military exercises, and broader strategic cooperation do not constitute a “protective shield” for the Greek people. Instead, they bind the country even more tightly to war plans and turn it into a link in a dangerous military chain.
No security against Turkish aggression and the unacceptable claims of the Turkish bourgeoisie can be guaranteed through alliances with Israel, the United States, and NATO. The very same plans presented as a “guarantee of stability” are fueling rivalries, intensifying the arms race, and increasing the dangers facing the peoples of the region.
- We refuse to accept Greece becoming complicit in the crimes committed against the Palestinian people and other peoples.
- We refuse to pay billions for armaments that serve war plans and rivalries aimed at securing corporate profits, while the needs of the people are treated as a cost to be cut.
- We refuse to allow our people and our country to become targets for retaliation.
WE DEMAND:
- Greece’s disengagement from imperialist plans and wars.
- An immediate end to all military, economic, and political cooperation between Greece and Israel.
- No facilitation, no military bases, no ports, and no airports to support military operations.
- Freedom for Palestine! The unanimous resolution of the Hellenic Parliament must be implemented. Solidarity with the Palestinian people!
