Another greatly successful strike, dozens of heroic stories that arrived in our Union’s mail. This is the powerful message of our strike!

A colleague with 10 years of fixed term contracts a few months before his retirement mobilized 100% Swedish, 60% Norwegian and 90% Danish colleagues to join the strike in the biggest project, fighting for the “next shift of the working class” and not only him. Spanish colleagues from a small project joined all their forces and sent a clear mail that their whole team will strike. Italians in many departments took the decision to join the strike against misinformation. Polish, Hungarian and English-speaking colleagues overcame the threats of the management who openly told them that anyone who went on strike would not be renewed and joined the ranks of the strikers. Greeks who did not accept the propaganda that “at least TP pays on time, unlike the poor Greek economy and business” took the leap and fought for wage increases and rights at one of the world’s largest employers and companies.

It is all of you, the heroes of the working class, who are the real essence of what a trade union is. A fraternal bond of internationalist solidarity. You are the ones who make the company take us into account with the mere idea of what will happen if even more people join our union and go on strike.

We are the ones who strengthen the labour movement and put our just rights in the front line!

We sent a message to the management that we are demanding our Collective Labour Agreement with raises and rights for all and we will not back down if we don’t sign!

We will continue our struggle, because that is how we got here, because that is the only way we can get results.

TP knows that those who agree with the demands and are considering joining the next strike are even more than those who took the step today.

We are strengthening our union, the more we are the stronger we get!

We are thousands!

Our next appointment is for the demonstration at the Ministry of Immigration on 07/11 at 17.30 to get clarifications on the shameful “specific purpose visa”, and all aspects of this situation. And to submit our demands for it to be improved.

We won our voices, we win our right!
