It seems the company has New Year Gifts for us: Total deregulation of our 8h work schedule!
There are colleagues from departments being “offered” broken shifts into two parts with 3 hour down time in between!
Once people accept this -because it might seem convenient to pick up kids from school or for ‘personal reasons’, this while turn into an avalanche of working whenever the metrics want you to, a schedule changing per day or hour, no personal life. Keep in mind there is a law for staying on alert and ready to work whenever asked without being paid for that time you stay next to the computer.
The Governments have given the capitalists many more options to squeeze us further. Laws are constructed by those who hold the financial power. Yet we can change the laws with our organized and determined struggle!
We do not accept any deregulation of the work hours!
No trust to our exploiters!
We appeal to all colleagues to think of your collective class interest!
In fact as a union we demand living salaries for 7hour weekday and 35 hour workweek in 5days, since our productivity has intensified and technology and AI should not be used for increase of profits but for the improvement of the societies and workers living standards.
The company should take these ideas back now as they have taken it back before!
