In the last few days we welcomed in some departments of Teleperformance new contracts with higher salaries. Even the small “seniority raise given for a few teams, from 1045 to 1100, is the first since 2010, a period of time when the minimum wage has increased significantly and the cost of living has risen by almost 40% in recent years!

This is proof that we have to keep doing what we have been doing for a while longer, as they admit that they are only willing to listen to us when we go on strike!

We refuse to accept the ever-increasing targets, which in some departments such as Apple Care have reached 100%, effectively cutting wages by 100, when on the other hand they were giving a ‘raise’ of 50 Euros.

Enough with the unpaid overtime, the constant downsizing, that results in our colleagues being left unpaid for months, until they find their next project, and that is the good scenario.

We publicly call the management to follow through and stop the downsizing as an excuse, to lay off hundreds of people, because of profits!

We denounce the company’s attempts to intimidate us once again in one-on-one meetings with workers on the pretext of asking for feedback and the unacceptable illegal threats that we will be blacklisted or have our raises taken back if we continue to fight for better working conditions.

We respond to the atmosphere of intimidation that Teleperformance is trying to cultivate with our struggles, collectively and through our union, as one fist!

SETEP is the Company Union of Teleperformance, and we are here, because our colleagues understood that there is a necessity for all of this to stop. We are here to protect our colleagues’ rights, the rights of every single one of us. We are here and will stay here to represent the workers!

Let it be clear to them that they will not isolate us again, nor will they silence us! We will not leave any colleague alone and we will not allow the unjust “punishment” of anyone who fights, strikes and demands. Through the union’s intervention, the management is being pressured to stop their obscene policies and arbitrary actions.

Teleperformance workers have proven that we don’t accept being fooled anymore! In fact we have shown them our strength with our great struggle in the past months!

We have come a long way, we will get even further. We all join the strike on the 17th, as every single one of us that will go on strike will give them the push to negotiate seriously and sign a collective labor agreement.

In this strike, the vast majority of us that got nothing but mockery, as well as those of us that got a tip to “shut up and go away”. We join our voices with our colleagues from around Greece, for real raises and Collective Labor Agreement is stating that we will not accept our salary ending before the end of the month, paying the ever increasing electricity and fuel, the rent that is now more than half of our salary, while we see them boasting and counting their profits, that our work, and our numbers create.

We continue to fight for Collective Labor Agreement and send a message to the company to start negotiations immediately!

Against their attempts to intimidate us, we all become members of our union and call on our colleagues to do the same. Only in this way will we build a shield of protection against these practices!

We all join:

  • the nationwide general strike on Wednesday 17 April
    • Mass gathering in front of the TP buildings at 08.00 and at 10.30 at Syntagma Square
  • new strike on 1st May to increase the pressure on Teleperformance. Thus we will honor the World Working Class Day!

We are united, no one is alone! Together we strengthen our struggle!
Our demands are just, we will achieve them, we will win!
