Our union denounces the fact that in anticipation of Christmas, Teleperformance announced it does not intend to pay the extra Christmas salary in full as normally required by law.

Teleperformance is a company with a workforce of thirteen thousand in Greece, with several thousand workers working for minimum wage, with the company not having announced any official pay raises for 14 years!

As if that wasn’t enough, this year Teleperformance has announced that the Christmas bonus will be paid in two instalments! One part in December and the rest with in January’s pay day! The company even had the audacity to make it known in an announcement to all employees that this scheme “only” applies to those who receive their salaries through a third party payroll company, i.e. the vast majority of workers. WE WONDER: How hard it would be to make just one payment in time instead of blaming a third party for this unacceptable practice?

We denounce these unacceptable practices and demand that the Christmas salary be paid in full within the same month!

We remain firm in our demands for wage increases and collective agreements!
