From the very first moments our union raised the issue of on time payment of the Christmas extra salary by Teleperformance and formally raised a complaint. The management of the company may have initially nodded their heads in indifference, stating more or less that since they follow the same practice every year, we shouldn’t expect anything to change now.

If it weren’t for the complaints from hundreds of colleagues, they would have gotten their way. Teleperformance would have paid the Christmas bonus in two instalments, with one actually coming in January! But through our organized action we managed to break the establishment of the unacceptable practice of Teleperformance paying the extra salary overdue a d long after Christmas…

Today we learn from the “payroll companies” who “loan” workers to Teleperformance that “something has changed” and we see that the entire extra salary was paid in full at once! It was as simple as that but the company, acting in a cowardice manner, made no announcement to accept this.

We know the truth. Together we are strong!

As much as Teleperformance tries to oppose our struggle, we continue to vigorously promote our just demands.

We go on a 24-hour strike on December 23 to send a strong message that intimidation WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

For the signing of a collective agreement, for wage increases and permanent contracts!
