Our General Assembly on Sunday, 12/1, made it clear once again what we have made known to everyone from the moment our Union was created: throughout this battle, no one is alone! We will not back down until we win our just demands!

It bothers them that our Union is here and fighting, with hundreds of new members. They can’t throw hundreds of colleagues out in the street or make any other arbitrary actions in silence anymore. It bothers them that the grip is tightening and that they will be forced to sign a Collective Agreement with wage raises!

The company has sunk so low that, in order to avoid legal responsibilities for the union layoffs, as well as to escape from signing a Collective Agreement with permanent contracts and rights with substantial improvement of our working conditions, they use payroll companies as a front and say “you are not Teleperformance employees, the payroll companies decide,” or boldly claim, “we laid off a total of 1800 people within the year” and “701 people only in December”!

This is the real face of Teleperformance. In order to cover up the dismissals of colleagues who claim and fight for a better life, they do not hesitate to say that every year it sacks thousands of colleagues. They admit themselves what is truly behind a “Great Place to Work”!

Teleperformance’s own management reveals that they hide behind payroll companies to save millions in compensations, to keep us on fixed-term contracts unhinged, to get rid of mothers’ rights, seniority-based leave, etc., as with a colleague who was recently fired after working for 12 years on fixed-term contracts.

They may try to gamble with our lives for their profits, but we will not let them! The disgrace of the payroll companies must stop immediately! We have been working at Teleperformance for years in the same position. We have no contact with any of them, nor do any of them ever seek to contact us. They just send us an email to sign a contract, with no clarification, no conversation, with anyone, from no company, for no reason.

We state once again: we will continue until our fair demands are met! The Labour Inspection is our next step, but we won’t stop there! The tremendous expression of solidarity from Federations, Labour Centres, Unions, and Organizations in Greece and abroad gives us strength! This struggle concerns all our colleagues and the entire working class of Greece.

Hands off our Union! Sign a Collective Agreement with raises and rights for all immediately! No more of the payroll company regime!

We are many, we are right, we will win!
