Dear Colleagues,

After multiple strike battles and victories that we have win recently, it is necessary to escalate our struggle.

We have managed to break the isolation of working from home with colleagues who are constantly organizing in the ranks of our union from all over Greece. We have managed to discuss collectively, in more and more departments within a short period of time. We secured demands as well as pay raises in some departments of Teleperformance.

After the protest held at the Ministry of Immigration, we collectively managed to convince the Ministry to assure the call center workers that they will not be subject to the recall status, as provided for in the new immigration code. This commitment alone does not reassure us, since there is still insecurity and dependence on the company, which blackmails workers into putting up with intensification, unpaid overtime and low wages.

In the heat of our strike struggle the worker’s union SETEP was born and is legally approved to represent the workers in our country and gives an encouraging message to Teleperformance workers in 95 countries.

In this context, the union invites all Teleperformance workers to the Administrative Board’s open meeting that will take place on Sunday 31.03.2024, 13.00 at the Piraeus Labour Centre, in order to discuss our next steps and put in place the planning of our struggle for the next period.
