A delegation consisting of the presidents of SETIP and SETEP visited the Ministry of Immigration today. They laid out our Unions’ demands regarding the visa status of our colleagues working in call centres from non-EU countries.

The Director of the Minister’s office recorded the request, the meeting with the Minister was impossible, because he was abroad. He asked for the detailed submission of the requests, based on the articles of the law. He undertook to look into the matter. While he referred to the Ministry of Labour regarding the insurance issues of the colleagues ( pension, unemployment fund etc.).

We call everyone to the strike on February 19, and to the meeting at the Ministry of Labour at 12.00 to submit our demands there as well. Part of which is the status of residence permits and the insurance issues of our colleagues.
