The Teleperformance Workers’ Union condemns the unacceptable decision of the Lamia Criminal Court, which released Golden Dawn leader and Nazi criminal N. Michaloliakos from prison “for health reasons.”
We demand that this decision be revoked immediately!Such a decision is a provocation to all the thousands of Greek and immigrant workers who, through their actions within the labor movement, exposed the nature of this criminal organization, leading to its conviction in court.
We do not forget that this decision comes exactly 12 years after the murderous attack by Golden Dawn assault squad on communists and trade unionists of PAME in the neighborhoods of Piraeus, specifically in Perama, and just six days before the anniversary of the murder of Pavlos Fyssas.
It seems that the same bourgeois justice that repeatedly declares union strike decisions illegal and relentlessly persecutes those who fight against the disgrace of auctions or denounce the shortcomings and hostile nature of the state towards workers and the people, this same justice system has, over the years, taken other decisions to release members of the criminal organization, which were overturned under mass protest.
The real condemnation of fascist formations and the system that breeds and nurtures them can only be imposed by the organized workers’ and popular movement, isolating and crushing the fascists in every workplace, in every neighborhood, and wherever they seek to raise their heads.
We are strengthening SETEP! We are strengthening the struggle against fascism and the system that breeds it!
Everyone to the rally organized by the Piraeus Labor Center with unions and organizations of the area on September 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the Pavlos Fyssas monument and march to the Kokkinia Blockade.
